Franco Albini Bamboo and Rattan Rocking Horse 21.5" x 18.5"

Mid-century rocking horse, often attributed to France Albini, composed of a bamboo frame with woven rattan seat and accents. Very good, vintage condition with natural patina and light wear (slight discoloration to bamboo and scuffs present, as shown). Measures: H: 21.5" x D: 30" x L: 18.5" x seat height: 11.5".

Franco Albini was an Italian Neo-Rationalist architect, designer and university instructor in design. A native of Robbiate, near Milan, Albini obtained his degree in architecture at Politecnico di Milano University in 1929 and began his professional career working for Gio Ponti.
